Description
Zapier allows you to connect the platform with thousands of the most popular applications (no coding required), so you can automate your work and have more time for what matters most. Essentially, Zapier allows you to connect multiple software and tools together so they communicate and work together for you.
Why This Matters
By automating information and processes with Zapier, you can reduce the time spent collecting statistics and data. This automation helps you quickly and easily access the information you need and make your email marketing efforts more successful without needing to code!
Step-by-Step Instructions
-
To get started, go to the integrations page
-
Once there, you can browse popular applications or search using the search bar There are many to choose from including:
- Google Sheets and Google Docs
- Google Analytics
- Slack
- Shopify
- Facebook Lead Ads
- HubSpot
- …and many more.
-
Once you find the application(s) you want to connect, click on the name and icon This will take you to a page explaining how to connect the platform with that application. In this example, we chose Google Sheets.
-
Click on the orange button to connect your account with Google Sheets
-
From there, you'll need to set up your first trigger A trigger is simply an action that must take place for another action to occur. For example, you can set up a trigger that adds a new contact in your account to your Google Sheet.
You can also name the trigger, called a "Zap" at the top of this page.
You can also set up other trigger events. For example:
- Contact updated
- Contact unsubscribed
- New email open
- New email click
-
When you've made your choice, click Continue
-
Next, you'll need to copy the spreadsheet in Google Sheets and ensure your files are set up correctly
-
Choose the application and event
-
Choose the Google Sheets account in this submenu
-
Set up the action by selecting your Google Drive, Spreadsheet, Worksheet, and Email
-
Click Test & Continue to verify and evaluate this action
-
If the test was successful, you can then activate your newly created Zap! Click Turn on Zap Now that your Zap has been created, you can share it with others!
